Functional Responsibilities

The Tactical Systems Analyst uses his or her operational expertise in modern U.S. Navy aircraft to advise and support warfare analysts and senior leadership in shaping and interpreting relevant warfighting assessments and effectiveness analysis; advanced concept development and design; analytic support for the pre-acquisition, acquisition, and sustainment of Navy, Joint, and allied systems acquisition process; and modeling and simulations for operational analysis.

Labor Qualifications

A minimum of ten (10) years of recent and relevant professional experience with F/A-18 or EA-18G aircraft tactical systems employment.  NFWS or MAWTS-1 experience a plus for F/A-18 candidates.  EAWS experience a plus for EA-18G candidates. A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, systems engineering, mathematics, physics, operational research, or a related scientific discipline is required.
