ACE Group Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Disclaimers, and Legal Notice
The Air Combat Effectiveness Consulting Group, LLC, hereafter referred to as “ACE Group,” is committed to protecting your privacy by using technology that gives you the most powerful and safe online experience. This Statement of Privacy applies to the ACE Group Web site and governs data collection and usage. By using the ACE Group Web site, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
If we decide to change our privacy policy, our latest privacy policy (along with the date on which it was last revised) will be posted on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. We will not notify you individually each time the privacy policy changes. We welcome and encourage your review of our privacy policy each time you visit us.
Collection of your Personal Information
ACE Group collects four types of information about our users: (1) User-supplied data; (2) Web server logs; (3) Cookies; and (4) Google Analytics data. We don’t share this information with others unless we say so in this Privacy Policy, or when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.
The following provides additional details regarding the four types of information we collect and how we use them:
User-supplied information: When communicating with ACE Group through the contact form, we only require that you provide your name and e-mail address so that we may respond to your inquiry. Information you supply in the body of your message or in a file you may choose to upload (for example, a resume) could contain additional personally identifiable information (PII) (such as e-mail address, name, home or work address, or telephone number). Please do not submit through the contact form or through any uploaded file, any “Sensitive Information” such as confidential, proprietary, or sensitive personally identifiable information (e.g. Social Security Number; date of birth; driver’s license number; or credit card, bank account or other financial information). If you submit any Sensitive Information, you do so at your own risk and we will not be liable to you or responsible for any consequences of your submission
Web server logs: When you visit our Web site, we may track information about your visit and store that information in Web server logs, which are records of the activities on our sites. The servers automatically capture and save the information electronically. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, the pages you viewed on the site, and referring Web site addresses.
The information we collect in Web server logs helps us administer the site, analyze its usage, maintain quality of the service, protect the Web site and its content from inappropriate use, and improve the user’s experience.
Cookies: The ACE Group Web site use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a Web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the ACE Group services or Web sites you visit.
Google Analytics: Ace Group uses the Web analytics tool Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use our Web site. The information Google Analytics gathers and analyzes includes first-party cookies and IP addresses. However, Google Analytics does not identify individual users and specific IP addresses to its customers. Furthermore, Google Analytics data will not be merged with any personal data already held by ACE Group.
You can opt out of the collection and saving of data for Web analysis purposes at any time by installing the deactivation add-on for your browser provided by Google. Also, as mentioned above, you can prevent cookies from being installed by selecting the respective option in your browser software.
Protection of your Personal Information
ACE Group secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those members of our firm who need to know that information to provide services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
The information we have collected from you is stored on our company-leased servers and company-owned computers. We take certain appropriate security measures to help protect your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will never be able to defeat our security measures.
Sensitive information is encrypted during transfer using established safety technology (SSL: Secure Socket Layer) and thereby protected from unauthorized access.
Based on use of its Web site, ACE Group will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on ACE Group or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of ACE Group; or, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of ACE Group, or the public.
ACE Group does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. Consistent with the Federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), no part of our Web site is structured to attract or solicit information from any person under the age of 13.
