Functional Responsibilities

The Human Resources Specialist directs and provides all company employees with human resource services such as: recruitment and staffing; position classification; labor relations; employee relations; employee benefits; worker’s compensation; and workforce development.  Related responsibilities include participating in meetings to promote acceptance of human resource programs and management initiatives, evaluating human resource program operations, identifying problem areas, and participating in planning and evaluative groups to recommend changes and improvements.  The Human Resources Officer will actively support special programs such as EEO, safety, internal controls, etc, keep abreast of employee satisfaction and morale, and identify developmental training needs.

Labor Qualifications

A minimum of two (2) years demonstrated experience handling administrative tasks in support of Human Resources objectives. The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency with e-mail, calendar, and word processing software. Minimum of two years college or Associates Degree from an accredited college or university is required; a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
