ACE Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a qualified candidate to perform and document System Safety hazard analyses on aircraft and weapons systems, subsystems, support systems and components, including hardware and software, for all life cycle phases.

  • Review and conduct System Safety evaluations of engineering change proposals (ECPs), specifications, test reports and test data provided from flight, ground and laboratory tests.
  • Participate in and support program meetings, technical interchange meetings, planning conferences and various related working group meetings. These meetings include but are not limited to System Safety Working Groups, design reviews, program status reviews, Weapon System Explosive Safety Review Boards (WSESRBs), test planning coordination meetings, test and evaluation working groups and technical interchange meetings.
  • Maintain and update the Government database of safety action records, hazard material reports, incident reports, CDRL status and specific platform / weapon data requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver Technical Reports (CDRL A003).



  • At least four (4) years of recent and relevant experience in a software system engineering role is required. Demonstrated knowledge in area of engineering expertise is required.
  • Position requires a BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related scientific discipline.
  • Must have programmatic or technical knowledge identifying, formulating, designing and/or testing practical solutions to engineering problems and guide the engineering development of modern complex systems; and to employ systems engineering methods and tools in the development of systems.
  • Experience with Software Experience with Aircraft Systems / Mission Computers as well as NAVAIR / Acquisition experience. 
  • Active Secret clearance required with ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
